Former NBA player Tim Thomas and his Playaz Basketball Club (PBC) has been in existence since 1997. The team originated from the Paterson AAU Team (A.K.A. the Pat Cats) that was formed in 1993. NBA stars Tim Thomas, Vince Carter, Kobe Bryant, Eddie Griffin, Brevin Knight, DaJuan Wagner, Dahntay Jones and J.R. Smith have all been either Pat Cats or PLAYAZ. The Playaz team reached out to YTC to draft logos for their new rebranding campaign while looking for a fresh new look. Playaz were looking for a few specific details such as a crown, shield and initials which we had to incorporate in the design. YTC had drafted multiple logos for TTPBC but unfortunately, we weren’t able to reach an agreement on any of them. Here are a few of those drafts.
